i used my saturday to bake the cornflakes thingy for two belated birthday kids, Keith and Jireh... i actually forgot their brithday till i see them last week... so i promised them a present... and since they loved the honey cornflakes, i made them one box each...
and this was the craft we did... it's king Xerxes and Queen Esther...
before i went to church, i actually bought a small cake for Keith... so, during the craft time, the children colour and cut the stuff... i told Keith to wait and not to go and wash his hands until he was the last one... and i also went to him last on purpose... reason because i wanted to prepare the cake when he's not in the classroom... so, when he went out to wash his hands, i quickly locked the door, took out the cake, lighted the candle and off the light... of cuz, he was already at the door knocking... but, with the help of the kids, they were like "wait! err.. waitttt..." hahahaa... and there, when we opened the door, a surprise!! and we started sing the birthday song without hestitation... (:
this was the best shot out of the 3 we took... wasted, couldnt see the present i gave him... and i didnt have time to take him with the cake... well, i've got them in my head.. wanna see? lol..
after church, it seemed like it was going to pour and rain cats and dogs... so, Wanyi and i walked quickly to the MRT station... but on our way, we saw something that made us laugh... just for cheap thrill..
so, at night, i was reading the book of "Esther", which i was supposed to teach on sunday school... it was quite long, starting from chapter 5 all the way to chapter 10... i was getting worried as to how to read such a long story to the kids... i even had trouble concentrating when i was finishing chapter 8... however, by the grace of God, i had fun telling them the story. moreover, i have no trouble understanding the book... :)
