cook out!!

on monday, my churchie friends and i had a cook out at Dawn's place... we met at the interchange and went for some shopping...




then, it's cooking time!! i didnt take many photos as i had to cut the garlic, potatoes and ONIONS!!! they made me cry and cry.. haha.. and as Shawn took over, he also wanted to cry..



once the food was done, it didnt take us too long to start eating... haha.. we have potato soup which apparently, we bought the wrong type, sheperd's pie, tiramisu and Chinese style pasta with cabbage and hot dog...





mmm, nice nice!! we were all so full... had lots of laughter on the table too... this picture below was taken before we ate the food.. we wont be smiling so big after the food though.. full of food! ahha...
then, after eating, Dawn introduced us to her new game... taking photos with effects on her com... we laughed so so hard la!! basket... be prepared to laugh your heads out... hahaa... oh, and another thing... if you are under 16, please leave this site at once... because the following photos are not that decent and might scare you off... hahaa... and many just spoilt our image.. but God still loves us k...

long time no see

nothing beats a great day with your loved ones . and yesterday was no better than any other days after that day he came over my place. i really miss him. yesterday, friday, i prepared myself to visit my long-time-no-see Sotaro and anthony accompanied me. we supposed to blade there. here's the thing. last week, i planned to visit Sotaro but it rained. so i had to reluctantly canceled it. then again, when we were ready to set off, the sky grew grey, and then dark, and same went my heart, down sinking. nothing i could have done than to pray to my loving Heavenly Father. as we set off rollar blading there, we suddenly were able to see the sky turned blue and i was so grateful. i can tell you, for the past few days it rained, today was not spared. but i faithfully believed that it was through the hands of God that held the rain back. a special birthday for a special boy!

 the day i anticipated eagerly was finally here. i brought Jos out after awaiting for this opportunity since months ago. just needed time and space to spend with him because we've got so much to talk about, and believe me, you can talk to him like an adult. and since it was his birthday, i took the opportunity to seek permission to take him out for a breather.   i met him early the morning and brought him out for breakfast first. Kopitiam's half-boiled eggs, siew mai and hot breverages.    we then set off the our destination. it was a surprise for him so i didnt reveal our directions or alighting point. he just followed obediently.   and then, before we knew, we found ourselves 15 levels above ground. :) i took him on a journey to see life from a different perspective. and we were looking down from a bird's eye view.   cheese! so many things we can see from the top. it was just a very different experience.   not ...

time please dont fly

as time flies, people grows bigger and older... well, at times, how we wished that we could stop time and admire or appreciate people dearest to you... and as parents, i believe you all feel the same as me too... hoping that the child you are carrying in your arms will always be in your arms and not to grow up... but we cant... and here goes my boy i knew since he was k1 (2004)... i never fail to attend his birthday party he invited every year... i've seen him grow since then... and i meant it... grow, Grow, GROW!!! and today, i saw him with his sister in the library... haha... and as usual, i would cover his eyes from the back and asked "wo shi sei?" which means who am i... and without failing, he would guessed it, let alone today... haha... look at his belly... haha~ =p so, by looking at the next photo, hasnt he grew? that's him in 2004... well? . . . . . . . . haiz... one more week left of school... not that i wont have any more income, you think i care? i know ...
