at NTUC childcare......

i was asked to help teach in NTUC childcare yesterday, my second attachment centre... reached the centre about 12.20pm... they were watching "Chicken Little" and my eyes were like stucked to the TV. hahaaahaha... i wanna watch the whole show la!!! watched halfway and it's time to slp... @#$%^&* k lo...

when the children were lying on the mat, i went to one of the child and pat him to bed... chatted for a while then saw him slp... for a moment, while i was stroking his hair, my heart felt heavy... my eyes went watery... why? the kid was not the best or "guai" kid... yet at the very end of the day, when you see him slp, he's like an angel sleeping still and you still love him so much, irregardless of what he has done wrong... just looking at the innocent sleep made you forgive him and forget the past... and i know that the kid knows nothing about me sitting there throughout his slp... similarly, like God watches us slp with love every night when we slp even us not noticing that he stayed with us throughout... i was suddenly recalling the feeling of God's hand through my hair... the love of the Heavenly Father that wants to spend these quiet moments with us... yet many times, we avoided it... and i admitted that i did...

it was hard to explain the feeling that i felt... i was still stroking his hair, his temple, feeling his ear and just looking at this innocent kid in slp... almost cried...

then, the teacher said that she wanted to go home and slp for a while... so i was left with the children alone... and as i was walking around the class, i saw many different sleeping position the children had... it's so interesting and i decided to take some photos... hahahahaha.....

long time no see

nothing beats a great day with your loved ones . and yesterday was no better than any other days after that day he came over my place. i really miss him. yesterday, friday, i prepared myself to visit my long-time-no-see Sotaro and anthony accompanied me. we supposed to blade there. here's the thing. last week, i planned to visit Sotaro but it rained. so i had to reluctantly canceled it. then again, when we were ready to set off, the sky grew grey, and then dark, and same went my heart, down sinking. nothing i could have done than to pray to my loving Heavenly Father. as we set off rollar blading there, we suddenly were able to see the sky turned blue and i was so grateful. i can tell you, for the past few days it rained, today was not spared. but i faithfully believed that it was through the hands of God that held the rain back. THANK YOU GOD!!! we reached punggol early, so anthony stayed downstairs while i went up sotaro's house to meet him. when i was just outside his house, ...

a special birthday for a special boy!

the day i anticipated eagerly was finally here. i brought Jos out after awaiting for this opportunity since months ago. just needed time and space to spend with him because we've got so much to talk about, and believe me, you can talk to him like an adult. and since it was his birthday, i took the opportunity to seek permission to take him out for a breather. i met him early the morning and brought him out for breakfast first. Kopitiam's half-boiled eggs, siew mai and hot breverages. we then set off the our destination. it was a surprise for him so i didnt reveal our directions or alighting point. he just followed obediently. and then, before we knew, we found ourselves 15 levels above ground. :) i took him on a journey to see life from a different perspective. and we were looking down from a bird's eye view. cheese! so many things we can see from the top. it was just a very different experience. not ...

time please dont fly

as time flies, people grows bigger and older... well, at times, how we wished that we could stop time and admire or appreciate people dearest to you... and as parents, i believe you all feel the same as me too... hoping that the child you are carrying in your arms will always be in your arms and not to grow up... but we cant... and here goes my boy i knew since he was k1 (2004)... i never fail to attend his birthday party he invited every year... i've seen him grow since then... and i meant it... grow, Grow, GROW!!! and today, i saw him with his sister in the library... haha... and as usual, i would cover his eyes from the back and asked "wo shi sei?" which means who am i... and without failing, he would guessed it, let alone today... haha... look at his belly... haha~ =p so, by looking at the next photo, hasnt he grew? that's him in 2004... well? . . . . . . . . haiz... one more week left of school... not that i wont have any more income, you think i care? i know ...
